Steel Strip 0.125"(1/8") x 6" (Copy)

Hot Rolled Steel Strip

Strong, versatile, and economical, our Hot Rolled Steel Strip is a reliable option for fabrication, construction, and general-purpose projects. Produced by hot rolling steel into narrower widths, steel strip offers the same strength and toughness as other hot rolled products, with easy workability for cutting, welding, and machining.

Steel Strip vs. Flat Bar:
While both are rectangular in shape, flat bar is typically produced to tighter dimensional tolerances and in heavier thicknesses, making it ideal for structural and load-bearing applications. Steel strip, on the other hand, is generally thinner and supplied in narrower widths, making it better suited for brackets, shims, straps, and applications where flexibility, lighter weight, or narrower profiles are required.

Features:

Durable Strength: Tough, dependable steel suitable for a wide range of fabrication needs.

Economical Choice: A cost-effective option for general-purpose work.

Easy to Fabricate: Can be cut, welded, drilled, and formed with standard tools.

Versatile Applications: Commonly used for shims, brackets, spacers, straps, guards, and repair work.
